Wir bekommen an unseren Pl\u00e4tzen, Gl\u00fcck gehabt, nur die Gischt ab und erreichen etwas durchger\u00fcttelt schlie\u00dflich den Pier in Toya Pakeh, dem gr\u00f6\u00dften Dorf der Insel. Dort werden wir erst einmal von sehr aufdringlichen Taxifahrern umzingelt, einer l\u00e4uft uns bestimmt hundert Meter hinterher, bis wir dann ein St\u00fcck hinter dem ganzen Trubel einen gerade Pause machenden Fahrer finden, mit dem wir einen Preis f\u00fcr die Fahrt zu unserem Guesthouse ausmachen. Er startet bei 250k iR, wir gehen auf 200k, was er sofort annimmt, Preise aushandeln m\u00fcssen wir noch etwas \u00fcben&#8230;<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Das Guesthouse, in dem Olivia und Till bei ihrer Reise auch schon waren, ist eine kleine H\u00fctte mit einem Schlafzimmer und der f\u00fcr Indonesien typischen Kombination aus Klo, Waschbecken und einer Dusche, die keine separate Duschwanne hat, sondern \u00fcber einen einfach irgendwo im Bad gelegenen Abfluss abl\u00e4uft. Wir stellen unser Gep\u00e4ck ab, genie\u00dfen eine Weile die k\u00fchle Luft der Klimaanlage und packen dann unseren Rucksack mit Strandt\u00fcchern, Taucherbrillen und Schnorcheln. Es wird Zeit, die Unterwasserwelt Indonesiens zu entdecken! Zu Fu\u00df erreichen wir die Crystal Bay, eine Bucht, die sich, von den starken Str\u00f6mungen rund um Nusa Penida\u00a0 gesch\u00fctzt, ausgezeichnet zum Schnorcheln eignet. Die Stra\u00dfe bis ans Meer ist eng und steil, ein schwei\u00dftreibender Marsch, den alle au\u00dfer uns aus gutem Grund lieber auf zwei R\u00e4dern bew\u00e4ltigen. Daf\u00fcr haben wir Zeit, die schon ganz sch\u00f6n urwaldig wirkende Flora zu bewundern. Bevor wir am Strand ankommen, geht es an Bananenstauden vorbei und zwischen riesigen Palmen hindurch, unter deren Bl\u00e4tterdach kleine, schmal gebaute H\u00fchner, Schweine und Rinder gehalten werden.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Der Strand selbst ist auf den ersten Blick relativ voll, es gibt einen Stand, an dem Kokosn\u00fcsse und gebratene Maiskolben verkauft und Strandliegen vermietet werden, aber etwas abseits ist es ruhiger und einmal im Wasser bekommt man kaum etwas von den anderen Strandbesucher*innen mit. Also: Taucherbrille auf, Schnorchel an und rein in die Wellen! Der erste Blick ist etwas \u00fcberraschend, denn der in der Brandung aufgewirbelte Sand verschleiert die Sicht, aber sobald wir in etwas tieferem Wasser sind, klart es auf und langsam zeigen sich uns die ersten Korallen und Fische.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Wir m\u00fcssen nicht lange suchen. In alle Richtungen schwimmen Fische davon, wie kleine Unterwasserberge ragen \u00fcber die Bucht verteilt Korallenfelsen aus dem Sand auf, in deren N\u00e4he es von noch mehr Fischen wimmelt. Die Vielfalt an Fischen aller m\u00f6glicher Farben, Mustern, Formen und Gr\u00f6\u00dfen ist faszinierend. Vom riesigen Titan-Triggerfisch bis zu winzigen, leuchtend blau-gelben Fischen, von den langgestrecken Chinese Trumpetfish, die es in bunt gef\u00e4rbt und in gelb gibt bis zu den kastenf\u00f6rmigen Kofferfischen wie dem spotted Boxfish, bei dem die Weibchen schwarz mit vielen kleinen wei\u00dfen Punkten gef\u00e4rbt sind und die M\u00e4nnchen ein blau-schwarzes Muster mit gelben und wei\u00dfen Punkten und Streifen haben. Andauernd entdecken wir, auch bei jedem weiteren Tauchgang, f\u00fcr uns neue Fische. Wir folgen den Korallenbergen, bis wir auf der linken Buchtseite ein weitl\u00e4ufiges Plateau erreichen, das sich aus dem Sand hebt und \u00fcber und \u00fcber mit Korallen bedeckt ist. Zwischen den Korallen\u00e4sten und in den zahlreichen L\u00f6chern und H\u00f6hlen versteckt sich hier so viel, dass es vermutlich nicht langweilig werden w\u00fcrde, einfach an einem Fleck zu bleiben und zu beobachten&#8230; Wir gehen aber weiter auf Erkundungstour und auf einmal taucht vor uns durchs Wasser gleitend eine gro\u00dfe gr\u00fcne Meeresschildkr\u00f6te auf. Wir schwimmen zu ihr, was sie \u00fcberhaupt nicht zu st\u00f6ren scheint. Sie gleitet weiter sanft durchs Wasser, nagt am Meeresgrund an \u00fcberwachsenen Steinen herum und taucht alle paar Minuten kurz auf, um ihren Kopf aus den Wellen zu strecken und Luft zu holen, bevor es dann wieder in die Tiefe geht. Wir bleiben sehr lange in der N\u00e4he der Schildkr\u00f6te und sind im Gl\u00fcck, sie so lange beobachten zu k\u00f6nnen.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Durch das warme Wasser k\u00f6nnen wir sehr lange im Wasser bleiben und so verbringen wir mit kurzer Verschnaufpause drei bis vier Stunden mit Schnorcheln. Wir sind gerade am Aufbrechen, als erst aus der Ferne, dann immer n\u00e4her der Klang von Trommeln zu h\u00f6ren ist, bis schlie\u00dflich am Strand ein circa 35-k\u00f6pfiger Prozessionszug auftaucht. Am Ende des Strandes bleibt die Gruppe stehen, es werden ein paar Sachen auf Balinesisch oder Indonesisch gesprochen und dann werden geflochtene K\u00f6rbe mit Opfergaben ins Meer gelegt, wo sie sich in der Brandung aufl\u00f6sen. Als zwei H\u00fchner nach vorne getragen werden, bef\u00fcrchten wir das schlimmste f\u00fcr sie, aber tats\u00e4chlich werden die beiden nur mit Schwung ins Meer geworfen und dann relativ rabiat wieder eingefangen. Nachdem die Prozession den Strand wieder verlassen hat, machen auch wir uns auf den Heimweg, die viele Sonne und das Schnorcheln fordern ihren Tribut und wir schlafen tief und pl\u00f6tzlich aus dem Tiefschlaf gerissen. Unser Bett wackelt. Aber nicht nur das, sondern unsere ganze H\u00fctte wird seitlich hin und her ger\u00fcttelt. Wir brauchen einen langen Augenblick, bis wir verstehen, dass wir gerade sehr deutlich ein Erdbeben sp\u00fcren! Nach zehn bis f\u00fcnfzehn langen Sekunden ist alles vorbei, aber wir sind sehr aufgeregt und suchen erst mal, ob wir online schon etwas dazu finden. Tats\u00e4chlich erscheinen nach wenigen Minuten die ersten Berichte, sp\u00e4ter stellt sich heraus, dass das Erdbeben der St\u00e4rke 5,1 nur 90km vor Nusa Penida im Meer sein Epizentrum hatte.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Nach einem solchen schreckhaften Start in den Tag m\u00fcssen wir uns erst mal mit einem guten ungesunden Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck st\u00e4rken, es gibt Pancakes und Pisang Goreng, frittierte Banane, k\u00f6stlich (ganz seltsam ist aber die anscheinend beliebte Kombi Pisang Goreng, Reibek\u00e4se und Schokoso\u00dfe).<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Wir gehen ein zweites Mal in der Crystal Bay Schnorcheln und sehen ganze zehn (!) Schildkr\u00f6ten. Eine tr\u00e4gt sogar einen kleinen Passagier mit sich herum, vermutlich einen Remora, ein ungew\u00f6hnlicher Fisch, der eine spezielle Saugplatte am Kopf hat, um sich an Schildkr\u00f6ten und andere gro\u00dfe Meeresbewohner anzuhaften. \u00dcberhaupt fasziniert uns die Fischwelt auch heute wieder, wir sehen aber nicht nur Fische, sondern unter anderem Snowflake-Morays und Zebra-Morays, Mur\u00e4nen, die zwischen den Steinen umherschl\u00e4ngeln und sich &#8211; einmal bemerkt &#8211; wahlweise panisch zu verstecken versuchen oder bedrohlich ihr kleines Maul aufrei\u00dfen&#8230; Gut, dass sie noch nicht gr\u00f6\u00dfer sind.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Unser Programm wei\u00dft auch an unserem dritten Tag keine gro\u00dfen \u00c4nderungen auf, wir genie\u00dfen es, ohne Erdbeben-Wecker ausschlafen zu k\u00f6nnen und gehen erst mittags an den Strand. Heute wagen wir uns noch ein bisschen weiter raus und sind ewig auf Schnorcheltour. Das ungew\u00f6hnlichste, das wir dabei sehen, ist ein riesiger, tot auf dem R\u00fccken im Wasser treibender Water Monitor, eine in Indonesien heimische, eigentlich an Land lebende Echse. Abends beginnen wir damit, die vielen Fische aus den GoPro-Aufnahmen zu bestimmen, wodurch uns erst richtig bewusst wird, wie viele verschiedene Fischarten wir bereits gesehen und gefilmt Schnorcheln auf dem Plan&#8230; Aber unter Wasser geht es trotzdem, sogar richtig lang und tief, wir gehen n\u00e4mlich tauchen! Wir starten morgens von der Tauchbasis, die auf unserer Strecke zur Crystal Bay liegt. Uns wird empfohlen, Anti-Sea-Sickness Pillen f\u00fcr die Bootsfahrt sp\u00e4ter zu nehmen, aber die Fahrt bis zum Boot auf der Ladefl\u00e4che eines Transporters, auf den wackelige Sitzb\u00e4nke geschwei\u00dft sind, stellt sich als deutlich seekrankheitserregender heraus als jede Bootsfahrt. Mit einem Boot geht es zum ersten Tauchspot, &#8220;Karang Sari&#8221;, im Norden der Insel. Wir haben Gl\u00fcck und Guillaume, unser Guide, macht den Tauchgang nur mit uns beiden, wir sind also bestens betreut. Der Tauchgang startet &#8211; Premiere f\u00fcr Annika &#8211; mit einer R\u00fcckw\u00e4rtsrolle vom Boot, danach geht es ziemlich entspannt an einem schr\u00e4g abfallenden Riff entlang, bei dem ein riesiger Napoleonfisch unseren Weg kreuzt. In der Pause vor dem zweiten Tauchgang gibt es ein in ein Palmblatt eingeschlagenes, ausgezeichnetes Mittagessen, bevor wir uns bereit f\u00fcr die zweite Runde machen. Dieses Mal steht ein Str\u00f6mungstauchgang an, spannend f\u00fcr uns, weil wir beide noch keinen gemacht haben. Tats\u00e4chlich ist es etwas herausfordernd, sich in der Str\u00f6mung nicht zu sehr in die eine oder andere Richtung treiben zu lassen, sondern gleichm\u00e4\u00dfig als Gruppe entlang der Riffwand zu treiben, aber wir schaffen es und sehen dabei sogar noch ein paar interessante Tiere, zum Beispiel einen Leaffish, der sich, wie ein Blatt unter Wasser, hin und her kippen l\u00e4sst, wodurch er hervorragend getarnt ist. Zur\u00fcck an der Oberfl\u00e4che treiben wir erst einmal eine Weile umher, unser Boot, das uns wieder einsammeln soll, ist nirgends zu sehen und reagiert auch nicht auf den Funkspruch, den ein anderes, vorbeikommendes Boot sendet. Also warten wir und d\u00fcmpeln weiter in den Wellen auf und ab, bis uns unser Boot dann doch endlich findet und zur\u00fcck zum Hafen f\u00e4hrt.\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Am Abend bekommen wir dann noch einen Roller geliefert, mit dem wir uns auf die Fahrt zum Hafen machen. Ohne zuvor schon mal Roller gefahren zu sein, ist das eine ganz sch\u00f6ne Herausforderung, aber eigentlich ist Nusa Penida kein schlechter Ort zum Lernen. Die Stra\u00dfen sind zwar eng und haben ab und zu riesige Schlagl\u00f6cher, aber daf\u00fcr sind die anderen Fahrer*innen es gewohnt, genau darauf zu achten, was um sie herum so passiert und im Zweifelsfall schnell zu reagieren. Wir kommen zwar sehr aufgeregt, aber ohne Probleme beim Hafen an, wo wir Geld abheben (2 Millionen!) und Snacks und Fr\u00fcchte Es geht auch sehr gut los, das Rollerfahren macht Spa\u00df, aber in einer eigentlich komplett problemlosen Situation, als Fabian den Roller kurz alleine auf der Stra\u00dfe wenden will, gibt er zu viel Gas und Roller und Fabian kippen gemeinsam um&#8230; Mist! Zu unserem gro\u00dfen Gl\u00fcck ist au\u00dfer Kratzern &#8211; an Fabian und am Roller &#8211; nichts passiert. Wir sind sehr froh, dass wir einen Roller mit Versicherung genommen haben, aber trotzdem sind wir (vor allem Fabian) ziemlich frustriert von dem Missgeschick.\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Wir beschlie\u00dfen, trotz dessen unsere Erkundungstour fortzusetzen und gew\u00f6hnen uns auch langsam wieder an den Roller, der uns schlie\u00dflich ohne weitere Zwischenf\u00e4lle zum Manta Point bringt, ein Aussichtspunkt auf einer hohen, steilen Klippe, von der aus man Mantarochen tief unter einem ersp\u00e4hen kann. Eine wirklich gro\u00dfe Hilfe dabei ist ein Local, der dort mit seiner Frau einen kleinen Getr\u00e4nkestand betreibt und verdammt gut darin ist, die vorbeiziehenden Mantas zu spotten. Annika sieht schnell auch einen, aber bis Fabian den ersten entdeckt hat, tropft uns vom lange in der prallen Sonne Stehen schon der Schwei\u00df von der Stirn.\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Der Manta-Spotter gibt uns noch ein paar Tipps, was wir in dieser Ecke der Insel machen k\u00f6nnen, dann trinken wir noch eine eiskalte Cola und fahren zu einem Tempel in der N\u00e4he. Die ganze Anlage dort ist spannend, wir m\u00fcssen (mit umgebundenen Sarong, weil es ein Tempel ist) vom Rand einer Klippe aus \u00fcber steile Metalltreppen hinunter klettern, bis wir knapp \u00fcber Meeresh\u00f6he sind. Dort verteilt sich eine kleine Tempelanlage rund um mehrere Wasserbecken, die sich aus Quellen aus dem Berg speisen und f\u00fcr die Wasserversorgung genutzt werden. Ganz am Ende der Anlage befinden sich, am Fu\u00df eines gro\u00dfen Fels\u00fcberhangs, zwei kleine Becken, in denen wir baden d\u00fcrfen. Das Wasser ist kalt, eine willkommene Abk\u00fchlung mit wundersch\u00f6nem Ausblick auf die wenige Meter unter uns brechenden Wellen. Zus\u00e4tzlich werden wir von tierischen Bewohnern unterhalten: Auf den Sinterterassen vor uns staksen Brandungsfelsenkrabben (passender Name) umher und im Becken werden unsere F\u00fc\u00dfe von kleinen Fische angeknabbert. Bei der anstrengenden Kletterei danach entdecken wir dann noch einen Mantarochen, der lange seine Kreise nicht weit unter uns zieht.\u00a0<\/div><div aber nicht auf die Klippe, sondern ins Meer darunter. Deshalb fahren wir mit der Tauchschule zur Crystal Bay, wo wir auf ein Boot klettern und zur Insel in der Mitte der Bucht fahren, von wo aus unser erster Tauchgang heute startet. Obwohl wir hier schon so oft geschnorchelt sind, sehen wir viele neue Tiere: Ein Schwarm Barrakudas und ein richtig gro\u00dfer in der Ferne, im Sand eingegrabene Sepien, eine wundersch\u00f6ne Mantis Shrimp und ein so gut getarnter Oktopus, dass wir eine ganze Weile brauchen, bis wir erkennen, worauf unser Guide Simon zeigt.\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Als wir die Crystal Bay mit dem Boot verlassen, zeigt unser Skipper auf einmal auf etwas: Delfine! Wir sehen, wie sie an unserem Boot vorbei in die Crystal Bay schwimmen.\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Anschlie\u00dfend geht es zum Hauptziel des heutigen Tauchtripps, dem Manta Point. Die Besonderheit dieses Ortes ist, dass dort mehrere &#8220;cleaner station&#8221; genannte Felsbrocken zu finden sind, auf denen verschiedene Fische, vor allem die Cleaner Wrasse, auf gr\u00f6\u00dfere Tiere, wie zum Beispiel die Rochen, warten, um Parasiten von ihnen anzunagen, ein System, von dem die Putzer und die Geputzten gleicherma\u00dfen profitieren. Eine dieser &#8220;cleaner stations&#8221; liegt im relativ flachen Wasser, weshalb wir dorthin tauchen k\u00f6nnen. Au\u00dfer uns wimmelt es hier von anderen Taucher*innen und Schnorchelnden, aber wir bleiben nicht die ganze Zeit bei der cleaner station, sondern machen ein paar Abstecher im weiteren Umkreis, weshalb die vielen Anderen uns nicht st\u00f6ren. Wir sind noch gar nicht lange abgetaucht, da sehen wir schon den ersten Mantarochen in 10-15 Metern vorbeiziehen. Sie sind riesig! Wir haben sehr viel Gl\u00fcck, denn als wir einen kleinen Abstecher machen, kommt auf einmal ein Manta in unsere Richtung geschwommen. Mit gro\u00dfen, anmutigen Fl\u00fcgelschl\u00e4gen schwebt er auf uns zu, wir bewegen uns nicht und der riesige Mantarochen gleitet mit vielleicht einem Meter Abstand \u00fcber unsere K\u00f6pfe hinweg. Unglaublich beeindruckende Tiere. Wir sehen insgesamt zehn Tiere, davon sind zwei schwanger, was man an einer W\u00f6lbung von Bauch und R\u00fccken sehen kann.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Nach diesem tierreichen Tag kommen wir komplett erledigt zur\u00fcck in unser Guesthouse, genie\u00dfen eine kalte Dusche, m\u00fcssen ein bisschen Orgasach machen und bestimmen dann noch ein paar der vielen an, wir gehen, wie die ersten drei Tage hier, Schnorcheln in der Crystal Bay, was wir noch einmal sehr genie\u00dfen. Wir bleiben bis zum Sonnenuntergang und werden von s\u00fc\u00dfen Streuner-Welpen unterhalten.\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Am Abend machen wir dann noch ein Nusa-Penida-Abschiedsessen, bei dem wir das bestellen, was uns hier am besten geschmeckt hat: Fr\u00fchlingsrollen, frittierter Blumenkohl, Tom Ka Gie, Pad Ka Phao Gie und dazu Papaya-Saft. Gest\u00e4rkt von so vielen leckeren Sachen, bekommen wir unser Chaos auf wundersame Weise wieder in unsere Rucks\u00e4cke gepackt und sind bereit f\u00fcr unsere Weiterreise morgen fr\u00fch: Es geht nach Gili Air!\u00a0<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>#14 Ab ins Meer! #14 Ab ins Meer!
